Welcome.
We made it to 2024 —welcome, and thanks for visiting! If you haven’t visited before, I’m a wildlife, nature, and travel photographer based in Virginia, but active throughout the United States (particularly, Alaska) and abroad (in 2023, I visited Argentina and Chile for the first time, and returned to the Faroe Islands, which has become a favorite destination).
I’m a member of NANPA, the Loudoun Photo Club, Northern Virginia Photographic Society, and the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers (Professional Member). One of the best things you can do to grow as a photographer, is to join and become active in a local photo club. I owe a lot to these organizations.
I’m starting 2024 by giving the website a thorough renewal — adding new material, deleting some older work, and improving the overall organization. You will still find some gaps, but those gaps will be filled soon. In the coming months, I’ll be adding education resources, tour information, links, and more. I hope you will visit periodically to see what’s new.
